How it works

Before you download
The original font is used when possible. When a PDF contains an incomplete font, a similar full font is used for new characters. Existing-text editing does not reflow whole paragraphs. Image-based text may need conversion before it can be edited.
Common questions
Can I edit words already in the PDF?
Yes, when the page contains supported selectable text. Image-only words need OCR first, and existing-text editing does not reflow entire paragraphs.
Will replacement text use the original font?
The editor reuses the original font when it can. If an embedded subset lacks new characters, it uses a compatible full font; you can provide the original font for a closer match.
Can I make PDF text bold, italic or underlined?
Yes. The editor includes formatting controls for supported text edits and added text, along with font, size and color settings. Review the exported PDF to check the final appearance.
How do I add a clickable hyperlink to a PDF?
Use Add Link in Edit PDF, draw the clickable area and enter a supported website, email address or page destination. Hyperlinks are an editor feature rather than a separate conversion tool.
Can I write on, highlight or annotate a PDF?
Yes. Add text boxes, draw marks, highlight regions, insert images or place a visual signature in the editor. These additions are separate from changing words already present in selectable PDF text.
